Easily the best meal we had during a 1 week stay in Zakynthos. The view from the dining area is amazing. Very family orientated. There were plenty of toys to keep our 3 year old entertained. The food was exquisite and very good value. Service was pleasant too.

Amazing beautiful place with really good food and kind service. Top view, top atmosphere, perfect everything. I had rabbit ragu and I can recommend it. The meat was juicy and softy and sauce was extremely tasty... One of the best restaurants on Zakynthos ❤️

thankyou to the girl with the piercings (you know who you are!) literally such a sweetheart 💖 she was beyond accommodating about my family and mines food needs and made us feel comfortable the whole time. people like her make the experience 1000x better. the food was unreal, all of us really enjoyed it! those fries are definitely our favourite on the island now

This place is extremely special. During our recent Sept ‘25 visit to Zakynthos we visited three times! Such a welcoming family-run restaurant with a sophisticated and delicious Greek menu. And, unusually, with a wide variety of vegetarian dishes available. Oh, and the wrap around coastal view is the icing on the cake! Huge congratulations to Panos, Tonga and team for an exquisite experience.

Food was delish and reasonably priced. Staff seemed a bit like they were plucked from the ether and plonked in the restaurant without a moment's notice: three different people came to seat us, all with alternating perspectives on whether there was room and where was best. But no worries because food was delightful and wine selection was great. The view was like, so good.

Hands down the best restaurant we went to in Zakynthos. Loved the food, the atmosphere & the view. And such a plus that kids could just play around with different toys inside and outside and they even had a trampoline and a playground close by provided by the restaurant. Thank you for your hospitality!

Fantastic place, amazing views! The food was delicious: we tried west of dips, eggplant fingers, orzo with octopus and mushrooms risotto. Everything was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended! Better to book a table in advance.

A fantastic restaurant with an amazing view and setting. The food was excellent, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. We tasted new dishes and desserts here, full of many new flavours for us. Seating on the terrace offers a view of the island and the sea. You could say it’s a perfect restaurant and definitely the best we had the chance to try on Zakynthos!

Wow! The best Greek food we had in Zakynthos! Everything is fresh and handmade, and that you can really tell. The owners are super kind and the views are absolutely breathtaking. 10/10, would recommend to any of my friends going zo the island.

What a place! Food, location, service all 100/10! Everything was incredible. The lamb with fava beans and the chicken with vanilla rice were heavenly. Their dips were also incredible. Then as for the service it was perfection as was the location with those magnificent views. We had a fabulous afternoon. Would definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our experience at The Old Windmill – so much so that we ate here three nights during our holiday! Every meal was outstanding. The steak was honestly the best I’ve ever eaten…after trying mine the first night, my parents had to come back so they could enjoy it too! My little girl loved the tzatziki, pita and steak. We also had the grilled peach & goat’s cheese salad, pork chop, grilled vegetables with halloumi, lamb chops, Greek salad, and the most delicious grilled king prawns. Everything was cooked to perfection.
The cocktails and drink selection were fantastic with so many options to choose from and each one perfectly made, they paired beautifully with the food and the setting.
The views from the restaurant are spectacular. We were lucky to sit by the window on two evenings and over by the climbing frame another night. The atmosphere was wonderful no matter where we sat.
This is a truly family-run restaurant at its core, with exceptional food and warm, welcoming service. A special mention goes to Panos, his wife and brilliant team, who made every evening feel memorable.
It’s also a great spot for families. There’s a small play area outside and an indoor area with books and toys, which made it even easier to relax and enjoy the evening.

After traveling Greece for almost a month in 4 of the most popular islands, this was one of the best, if not the best, meals we had. I forgot to take a photo but would highly recommend the tuna souvlaki. The citrus and tomato salad that accompanies it is incredible. The griled peach salad was another highlight. Beautiful restaurant with really friendly accommodating staff and DELICIOUS menu! I wish I’d just got everything off the appetisers and skipped the main (which were also lovely but the appetizers stole the show! Especially the ceviches and the aubergine fingers! Lovely view too.
